A lot has been added since the February 2026 launch (Version 1.0).
Here’s a summary of what’s new and improved.
TEMPLATE UPDATES
• The core plan document remains on its initial Version 1.0 legal framework
• The system for publishing future Compliance Updates (law-driven) and Maintenance Updates (minor fixes) is now fully in place
FEATURE UPDATES
Plan Amendments (Editing a Finalized Plan)
• You can now edit a plan after it’s finalized, right from your dashboard
• The system tells the difference between substantive changes (benefit options, plan rules, plan year dates) and minor changes (address, administrator name, typos)
• Substantive changes guide you through re-endorsement — whether your plan is active or upcoming; minor changes take effect immediately with no re-signing
• Change something back to its original value before finishing and the re-endorsement requirement clears automatically
Plan Version History
• Every endorsed version of your plan is preserved automatically as a read-only historical record
• A “View previous versions” option keeps older versions accessible without cluttering your dashboard
• Clear labels distinguish your current plan from superseded and pre-amendment versions
Smarter Dashboard
• New Plan Year column with at-a-glance status badges: ACTIVE, UPCOMING, and EXPIRED
• Clearer version labeling and context-aware action buttons
• Refreshed design matching the Kinney Health look, with a scrollable layout on smaller screens
• View your full activity log directly from the dashboard
Memberships & Subscriptions
• Single-plan and multi-plan bundle memberships, with employer-size selection at checkout
• Compliance Subscription for ongoing access to law-driven document updates
• Plan credit system for creating and managing multiple plans
Compliance Updates (Law & Regulation Changes)
• Law-driven document updates are delivered through a dedicated Compliance Subscription
• Guided review with a side-by-side comparison, then re-endorsement to adopt each update
• Smart detection tells you whether an update actually affects your specific plan — if it doesn’t, you can adopt it in one click with no review or re-signing needed
Maintenance Updates (Free Minor Fixes)
• Minor, non-legal corrections — typos, inflation-adjusted dollar figures, wording clarifications — now delivered as their own free update type
• Review what changed and accept with a single click; no subscription or signature required
Notifications
• Email alerts when a Compliance Update or Maintenance Update is available
