Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Kinney Health Compliance (“Kinney Health,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://kinneyhealth.com, including the Cafeteria Plan Generator (“CPG”) and related pages and services (collectively, the “Services”). It also explains the choices available to you. For additional information about our data practices, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies may be set by the website you visit (“first-party cookies”) or by another organization whose services are used on that website (“third-party cookies”). Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiration, until they are replaced, or until you delete them.

We may also use related technologies, such as local storage, software development tools, tags, and pixels. In this Policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies where the context permits. Cookies can store or collect identifiers, preferences, device and browser details, referring pages, interaction information, and similar technical information. They are not intended to collect employee Social Security numbers, protected health information, claims information, benefit elections, or other employee-level sensitive information through CPG.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies to operate and secure the Services, maintain sessions, remember choices, understand how visitors find and use our pages, improve performance, support purchases, and provide requested third-party features. The categories below describe these purposes.

Necessary Cookies

Necessary cookies support functions required to deliver the Services, such as session management, account access, security, fraud prevention, network management, checkout, and saving privacy choices. The Services may not work correctly without them. Where applicable law permits, these cookies are used without optional consent because they are needed to provide a requested service or maintain essential operations.

Functional Cookies

Functional cookies remember settings or support optional features, such as learning or resource-page sessions, interface preferences, embedded content, and customer-support tools. Disabling them may prevent a feature from remembering your choices or working as expected.

Analytics and Attribution Cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate traffic, page use, performance, and errors. Attribution cookies help us understand how a visitor arrived at our site, such as the referring site, campaign source, or first and current visit source. We use this information to evaluate and improve our Services and communications. Our current first-party source and attribution cookies are not used by us to build profiles for targeted advertising.

Payment and Embedded Third-Party Cookies

When you choose to pay online, Stripe processes payment information and may set cookies on hosted checkout, payment, or fraud-prevention interfaces. Stripe, rather than Kinney Health, handles full payment-card credentials. Stripe’s cookies may be necessary to complete a transaction, authenticate a payment, prevent fraud, or remember checkout-related information. The cookies set and their duration depend on the Stripe feature and page involved.

Some pages may contain third-party content or tools, such as videos, forms, scheduling tools, learning features, or other embedded services. If such a feature is present and you use it, its provider may set cookies or receive technical information under its own policy. An embedded provider may recognize your browser across websites if you are signed in to that provider or if its technology is configured to do so. We identify and request choices for optional third-party cookies where required, but a provider controls cookies placed on its own website or hosted interface.

3. Current Cookie Inventory

The following table reflects cookies identified through a source scan and manual browser inspection of the CPG landing page, login page, store, checkout, AI assistant, and signed-in dashboard. “Session” means the cookie ordinarily lasts for the browser session. Actual behavior can vary with browser settings, plugin configuration, consent choices, and later site changes.

Cookie inventories can change when we update the Services, plugins, integrations, or provider configurations. We will update this inventory after future inspections as appropriate. A cookie’s presence in this inventory does not mean it appears on every page or for every visitor.

4. Analytics and Site Statistics

WordPress.com and Jetpack may provide site statistics, diagnostic information, and performance measurements as part of the hosted website service. The technologies used for these functions can vary by page and configuration. The MonsterInsights plugin is installed, but it is not currently configured with Google Analytics and does not currently add a MonsterInsights Google Analytics tracking code to the Services.

If we later enable Google Analytics or another analytics technology that uses additional cookies, we will update this Policy and the cookie inventory to identify the applicable cookies, purposes, providers, and durations. We do not use analytics data for targeted advertising and do not intend to enable Google Analytics advertising features, targeted-advertising audiences, or cross-site advertising without first updating our disclosures and any required cookie controls.

5. Targeted Advertising

We do not currently intend to use cookies for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. The source-attribution cookies listed above help us understand how visitors reach our site; they are not used by us to serve advertising based on activity across unrelated websites. If we later enable targeted-advertising technology, we will update this Policy and provide any notice, consent control, or opt-out required by applicable law before using it in that manner.

6. Your Cookie Choices

Cookie Banner and Preference Controls

We do not currently display a separate sitewide cookie preference center. Our current source scan and manual browser inspection did not identify Google Analytics or targeted-advertising cookies. If we later enable optional cookies that require advance consent or category controls, we will add an appropriate banner or preference tool before using them where required. Necessary cookies may remain active because they support essential functions or record a privacy choice.

Browser Controls

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and may allow you to limit third-party cookies. Instructions are available in your browser’s privacy or help settings. You can also clear local storage through browser controls. Blocking all cookies may sign you out, prevent sessions or checkout from working, cause preferences not to be remembered, or make learning, embedded, and other site features unavailable or less reliable.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browser-based Do Not Track signals are not governed by a uniform industry standard, so our response may vary depending on the technology and applicable law. Where we are legally required and technically able to recognize a valid opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will process it for the browser or device sending the signal. Because we do not currently use cookies for sale, targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising, such a signal may not change the operation of necessary, functional, or measurement technologies. You may still use our cookie preference controls where available.

7. Third-Party Choices

Our preference controls apply to technologies we control or can configure through the Services. They do not delete cookies already placed by another provider on that provider’s own site. You may need to use the provider’s controls or your browser settings for those cookies. For information about Stripe’s privacy practices, visit https://stripe.com/privacy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology, providers, practices, or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date shows when this Policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by another reasonable method when required by law. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
